Shop Before You Fly: Portugal Duty Free Launches Click & Collect Service

Over 40% of Portuguese travellers say they are interested in planning their purchases online before flying – and now they can. Portugal Duty Free has just launched its brand-new Click & Collect service, now available at Lisbon, Faro, Azores and Madeira airports.

Through portugaldutyfree.com, passengers can conveniently shop online ahead of their journey and collect their purchases at Portugal Duty Free stores – either on departure or upon arrival – saving valuable time at the airport.

The platform offers hundreds of products, including fragrances, local and Port wines, premium spirits, chocolates and souvenirs, along with exclusive offers and new brand launches. Designed to make shopping easy and efficient, the service allows customers to place orders up to 48 hours before their flight, specify their travel details, and find their purchases ready when they pass through the store.

According to a study by Foresight Factory, commissioned by Portugal Duty Free, 40% of Portuguese passengers express interest in online pre-travel shopping. Among these, 62% show a preference for perfumes, souvenirs and chocolates, while 34% favour local products such as regional wines and Port wine – perfect gifts for those visiting family and friends abroad.
