By definition, Port wine is a fortified and full-bodied wine, produced in the Douro Region — the oldest demarcated wine region in the world. Made from grape varieties traditionally used in the region, its winemaking process is characterized by the addition of grape spirit to the fermenting must.

Lágrima Port represents one of the oldest traditions in the production of white Port wine. Its pronounced sweetness and liqueur-like texture result from an early interruption of fermentation, producing a highly concentrated white Port, full of fruity aromas, and offering great pleasure when served chilled.

This wine has a golden hue, reflecting its concentration and liqueur-like character. It is intensely aromatic and fresh, with aromas of raisins and complexity imparted by maturation in wood. Sweet and structured, it is full of fruity flavors, finishing long and persistently.
