In 2015, the year of Hennessy's 250th anniversary, the Maison paid tribute to James Hennessy, the eldest son of the Maison’s founder, Richard Hennessy. He shaped the essence of Hennessy’s identity, defined its criteria of excellence and initiated the first global expeditions, marking the beginning of the brand’s worldwide expansion. To celebrate this new blend, Hennessy collaborated with internationally acclaimed designer Marc Newson, who created a strikingly simple, contemporary and ergonomic decanter that reflects the Maison’s visionary spirit.
