Inspired by the grape harvest in Portugal, Vindima is the festival in Madeira that lasts almost two and a half months. From the fiery embers of summer into autumn's warm embrace, Madeira's harvest festival unites its community to handpick ripened grapes. After their hard work, the streets erupt with collective euphoria – alive with song, dance, and joy. It comes from a Maderian cask, specifically Malvasia Malmsey grape variety, giving a rich sweet twist with sticky orchard and dark fruit notes, including sultanas and a hint of spice.

• Nose: Rich, smooth and honey-sweet, with gentle notes of baked peaches and oranges, cocoa powder, creamy vanilla, and perfumed floral notes. Honeysuckle, jasmine, and carnation take over, with mandarin added through the addition of water.
• Taste: Syrupy texture with flavours of candied orange peel, plump sultanas, milk chocolate truffles, hints of aniseed, cinnamon, sweet chilli, and clove. Woody notes, hazelnut, and wood smoke at the end.
• Finish: Long-lasting, with vinous grape notes reminiscent of Malmsey Madeira casks.
