Thanks to the 7-year ageing process and the finish in American barrels, this whisky combines the depth and complexity of Scotch with the sweet, creamy notes afforded by American barrels to give you the best of both worlds. Expect to find the vanilla and apple notes characteristic of the Ballantine’s family, as well as extra layers of sweet caramel from the American barrel.

Our favourite way to enjoy Ballantine’s 7 American Barrel is in an Old Fashioned, with a couple of dashes of orange bitters to complement the sweet notes of the whisky. But we also know it’s great neat or on the rocks, or with a premium cola for extra refreshment.
