The Glenlivet Triple Cask Matured Distiller's Reserve is created through the balanced influence of three types of casks — traditional, American white oak, and ex-sherry — to achieve a harmonious blend of fruity notes and smoothness. Each triple cask expression shows how the interplay of whiskies matured in three different casks adds depth and complexity to the floral, fruity character of The Glenlivet single malt. The White Oak Reserve, with a high proportion of American white oak casks, creates a deep, velvety taste with subtle, creamy coconut and vanilla notes. For a richer, more intense character, The Glenlivet’s craftsmen also use the ‘never-emptied’ solera vat.
