There are also references to its international expansion, including countries such as France and the United States.

At Quinta de Cidrô, Touriga Nacional was adapted to a terroir that is unusual for this variety. While it is traditionally planted in low-altitude vineyards exposed to high temperatures, Quinta de Cidrô offers very different conditions, contributing to a unique expression of the grape.
